Elementary School Honoree – Charli Fox (1st Grade)
Charli is kind, caring, and respectful to all of her classmates! She works hard in counseling during our related arts rotation and always shares her insight with the class. Charli is a friend to all and never gives up! I am so proud of how hard Charli tries even when the task may be new and uncomfortable at first; she always gives her best effort!
Getting to know Charli:
- What is the most unusual thing that happened in your classroom this year?
“Ms. Emma, our assistant teacher, finished her time with us. She had to leave to become a full-time teacher. Today she surprised the class by being our Mystery Reader! We have a Mystery Reader every Friday, and we don’t know who it will be. Today was a surprise to see Ms. Emma again. The class was happy to see her!”
- If you could invite a famous person to dinner at your house, who would you invite?
“I’d invite Dolly Parton. I like her theme park, especially her roller coasters. She’s a good singer too.”
- Where would you choose to go on vacation this summer if money were no object?
“I’d pick Utah. I watch YouTube videos from a girl named Adly. She lives in Utah. Her videos mostly about opening toys and going different places. I think Utah would be fun to visit. Or maybe Japan. I like the trees there that I’ve seen in videos.”
"Charli's character shines bright," said Ms. India, K-8 School Counselor. "She displays kindness and respect and is amicable to her peers! She is a joy to have at our school and can brighten anyone’s day."
