High School Honoree – Alex Powell
Alex is a trustworthy and reliable student who supports others in and out of the classroom. He is a pleasure to have in class, and his positive attitude and belief in himself is an immensely admirable asset. Alex is a quiet student but embodies the expression, "Still waters run deep." That is to say, despite his shy demeanor, Alex is an intelligent and disciplined individual. From the first day of school, to now the end of the nine weeks, Alex displays preparation and a willingness to work diligently on each class assignment..

“Do what is right, not what is easy.”
- If you were a teacher for a day, what would you teach?
“I’d probably teach PE. I like sports and being active.”
- What qualities do you admire most in others?
“Kindness. Being kind can go a long way.”
