High School Honoree – Abigail Bristol (HS Senior)
I have nominated Abby Bristol for two reasons. First of all, she has a very kind personality. She is smiling and in a good mood every day. She is a very thoughtful student. Secondly, Abby is a great student. She works hard to do the best she can on all assignments.
Getting to know Abby:
- What is a special talent you possess that most people don't know about?
“I know how to make all the different food items at Pal’s. I worked there a couple different times, probably for about a year or so total. My favorite things to make were special orders, although sometimes people can be high maintenance. Obviously, I ate there a lot. The food is good. I still eat there sometimes.”
- What quality do you think is most important in a great teacher?
“I think being able to relate to their students. Being able to relate to their students
and adapt to their students’ needs.”
- What is something you've accomplished that you are particularly proud of?
“I would say all the Dual Enrollment credits I’ve completed. I Dual Enroll at both Milligan and ETSU. I’ve taken a lot of college classes. I want to study nursing in college, and all these classes will help prepare me for that.”
“Abby is a pleasure to have in class each day,” said Senior Sam Smith, Abigail’s Spanish II teacher. “Throughout both Spanish I and Spanish II, she has worked very hard.”
