High School Honoree – Jack Harman
Jack is so friendly! He always has a smile on his face and has a chummy 'hello' when he passes the office. Anytime extra help is needed in the office, Jack is more than willing to lend a helping hand. He is kind to his peers and assists our younger students when needed. Jack's teachers also say he is a hard worker in the classroom. University School benefits from having Jack Harman as a student!
Getting to know Jack:
- If you had a time machine, would you go back in time or visit the future?
“I would go back in time so I could see if the Egyptians really built the pyramids.”
- What’s your favorite aspect of school?
“Leaving!” ha ha
- What do you hope to be doing in 5 years? In 10 years?
“In 5 years, I hope to be in college at UT studying law. In 10 years, I hope to be working at a law firm, starting a family, and not be in debt.”
"Not only is Jack an excellent student in the classroom, but he was also the only 10th grader to start on the baseball team in the state tournament,” commented Coach Josh Petty, the University High baseball coach. “Jack works extremely hard to maximize his potential on the diamond and we look forward to him leading the program to another successful season in the spring.”
