Getting to know Lauren:
What class/subject is most challenging but also fun?
“Math. The people in my math class are fun to be around. Mrs. Reis makes it easy to understand, but sometimes it’s hard. There are formulas that I need to know.”
What do adults not understand about being a student in current times?
“I feel like the adults that I’m usually around, like my dad, I can trust them. They are more life experienced. My dad is easy-going and he understands what I’m going through for the most part.”
What do you miss most about Kindergarten?
“Definitely nap time. I like sleep. Obviously, it wasn’t too hard. I remember getting my first homework assignment and being so excited!”
“Lauren is a wonderful student!” pointed out Ms. Kirstin Colson, Lauren’s Art teacher. “She is always friendly and happy to help. Lauren is also multi-talented and an exceptional artist. Lauren displays a willingness to try each new project, and she puts her best effort into all of her artwork! I am always excited to see how her art unfolds.”
