University School is beginning a new collaborative club with ETSU men’s basketball: Real Talk. Real Talk is a mentorship endeavor that strives to encourage, enrich, and empower students to be successful via discussion that is real and relational through shared life experiences. The mission of Real Talk is to develop and promote character, self-esteem, and relationships. The Real Talk club is currently offered in several schools in Knox County, and University School is happy to partner with ETSU men’s basketball to bring this mentorship program opportunity to its 4th and 5th grade students.
The club will meet each Wednesday from 7:30-7:50am in room 119 (Mrs. Stinson’s 5th-grade room) beginning tomorrow, Nov 9. For more information, please reach out to Dr. Penley (penleyj@etsu.edu).
