Announcement of Clemmer College's Interim Dean

Dear ETSU community,

It is my honor to announce that Dr. Janna Scarborough has been named Interim Dean of the ETSU Clemmer College.  She replaces Dr. Greg Aloia, who has resigned due to a family medical issue. 

Dr. Scarborough has been part of the ETSU faculty since 2006 and most recently was Associate Dean for Faculty and Academic Affairs for the Clemmer College.  Throughout her tenure at ETSU, she has held the roles of graduate program coordinator and associate chair, and she was the founding chair for the Department of Counseling and Human Services.  In addition, she has served as Chair of the Council of Academic Chairs and as a member of University Council.  Last December, Dr. Scarborough was selected to serve as a Presidential Fellow for the spring 2019 semester.

Dr. Scarborough holds a Ph.D. degree from the University of Virginia and taught at Syracuse University for four years prior to joining the ETSU faculty.  Her appointment as interim dean is effective immediately.
