Milhorn and Reis Present at UETCTM

Ms. Amanda Milhorn (7th and 8th grade Math) and Ms. Lisa Reis (6th grade Math and Science), presented a session at the Upper East Tennessee Council of Teachers of Mathematics spring meeting on Tuesday, February 18.

Their session, " Speaking, Reading, and Writing About Math " was for teachers in grades 6-8. Their session covered a discussion on the Tennessee literacy standards for mathematics and a talk about strategies and resources used in 6th-8th grade math classrooms at University School to help incorporate these standards.

The alumni of Clemmer College are leaders in the region in professional development for mathematics teachers! So proud to have Ms. Milhorn and Ms. Reis as Bucs!
