Dr. Partin and Mr. Honeycutt Receive ESGR Patriotic Employer Award

Congratulations to Dr. Partin and Mr. Honeycutt for receiving the Patriotic Employer Award presented by Dr. Jim Cross (ETSU Alum and Northeast TN Area Chair for the ESGR - Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve).

University School Director, Dr. Brian Partin, and University School Athletic Director, Mr. Dustin Honeycutt, were nominated by University School Track and Field Assistant Coach, Dr. Alan Cox, who mobilized to provide support for COVID relief. The first in ESGR's series of awards is the Patriot Award. An employee serving in the National Guard or Reserve, or the spouse of a Guard or Reserve member, may nominateindividual supervisors and bosses for support provided directly to the nominating Service member and his or her family. The Patriot Award reflects the efforts made to support citizen warriors through a wide-range of measures including flexible schedules, time off prior to and after deployment, caring for families, and granting leaves of absence if needed.
