Elementary School Honoree – Pierce Adler

Pierce is a standout student during technology class. He shows a passion for technology and is always eager to put new skills to the test. He is also patient and willing to help others and the teacher during tech class. He provides insight and adds to the lesson by respectfully engaging in the conversations. Pierce volunteers his help to others if they need it and shows a positive attitude when troubleshooting.

Getting to know Pierce Adler:

· You can only eat at one restaurant for the next year…which are you picking?

“Pal’s…I really love their hotdogs and vanilla shakes!”

· What qualities do you most admire in others?

“I admire others who are understanding and playful.”

· If you could travel back in time to the beginning of this school year, what advice would you give yourself?

“Don’t stress too much about Covid!”

"Pierce's enthusiasm for coding is infectious,” said Elementary Technology Teacher Ms. Paiton Chambers. “I allowed him to lead a lesson in sharing his knowledge of code with his fellow fourth graders. He made the lesson engaging for them by adding in a game element. His confidence is supported by his effort to read and learn about code on his own time. I enjoy watching him grow his technology skills and share them with others."
