University Elementary School Student Spotlight - April 10, 2022
Elementary School Honoree – Elise Russell
Elise is a genuinely kind friend to her classmates. She is sweet and loving, and she
wants her classmates and teachers to always be happy. She often thinks of others before
herself. One student was absent on Valentine's Day, and she wanted to make sure he
received his treats, so she put them in a safe place in my room so he would see them
when he returned to school. She is cooperative, eager to learn, tries her best, and
doesn't give up when things get hard.
Getting to know Elise Russell:
• If you could instantly become an expert in anything, what would it be? “I’d want to be able to communicate with cats and dogs. I would want to be able
to understand what they are saying. It would be a lot of fun!”
• A TV show is going to be made about and staring you. Tell us about it. “Its name would be ‘Family.’ It would be all about my family and pets.”
• What is one thing your classmates and teachers would never guess about you? “I have so many pets it’s hard to count them all. I have many cats and one dog.”
