Elementary School Honoree – Alex Rouse

Alex is kind, honest and respectful to both classmates and adults at University School. He is always eager to help a friend in need. His teacher can always count on Alex to have a positive attitude toward new challenges in the classroom.

Getting to know Alex Rouse:

What’s the most fun you’ve ever had in school? “Recess! I like to play basketball with Arlen, Jasper, Jake, and Ford.”

If you had to describe yourself using only one word, what would it be? “Happy! I am a very happy person!”

What is one item you want to own that you don’t? “Hmmm. A blue Tesla!”

“Alex is an absolute joy to have in the classroom,” said Mrs. Heather Jeffers, Alex’s 1^st-grade teacher. “He exhibits integrity and empathy daily. Alex's dedication to each and every 1st grade activity, encourages others to try their own personal best! He is truly spotlight worthy for his leadership in our classroom community and school.”
