University Elementary School Student Spotlight - October 14, 2021

Elementary  School Honoree – Zaara Chakraborty

Every morning, Zaara enters the 1st grade classroom and brings the sunshine along with her! When asking for a volunteer in class, Zaara is always up for the job and eager to help. Zaara shows kindness through both her words and actions. Her love for learning is shown daily.

Getting to know…Zaara Chakraborty:

If you could take a vacation to anywhere in the world, where would you go? “Myrtle Beach, because of the vast ocean and I can build sandcastles.” 

What is the best gift you've ever given someone? “Love and hugs.” 

If you could have any pet, what would it be? “Puppy, to keep our current puppy Max from being lonely when he is at home. I want to be a veterinarian when I grow up, so I can take care of lots of animals.” 

“Zaara is a classroom leader in every way,” pointed out Zaara’s 1st-grade teacher, Ms. Heather Jeffers. “She is kind to everyone, always eager to help and greets each school day with a genuine love for learning. Zaara’s respect and consideration for others is consistently shown not just through the words she speaks but the choices she makes.”
