High School Honoree – Kennedy Funk
Kennedy is always an active participant in class and works well with others. She is pleasant and an asset to the classroom.
Getting to know Kennedy Funk:
- What's your favorite knock-knock joke?
- “Knock-knock.”
“Who's there?”
“Banana.”
“Banana who?”
“Knock-knock.”
“Who's there?”
“Banana.”
“Banana who?”
“Knock-knock.”
“Who's there?”
“Orange.”
“Orange who?”
“Orange you glad I didn't say banana again?”
- “Knock-knock.”
- What movie never gets old, no matter how many times you watch it?
- The artsy answer would be Howl’s Moving Castle, cause it’s beautiful and I love it but honestly, Wayne’s World. Is it a good movie? Not in the slightest. Can I quote the whole thing? Yes 100%.

- If you could add a face to Mount Rushmore, who would you add? Why?
- Probably Rosa Parks, she worked to change the state of segregation in America as a black woman and she deserves the recognition for that.
"Kennedy is a conscientious and compassionate student. She is always willing to participate in class, and I can count on her for thoughtful responses. She gets along well with and shows concern for others,” pointed out Dr. Amanda Frasier, Kennedy’s US History & Geography teacher.
