High School Honoree – Nalan Kittrell

Nalan is one of the most hard-working students I have ever had in my classroom. This is true not just some of the time, but every day he comes to class with hard a working attitude. His consistency is what makes him dependable and successful. Nalan is also a genuinely nice person. I have seen him help out many students, without being asked. He is always polite and cares about those around him. Nalan's reliable work ethic and compassion makes him a valuable member of our school community!

Getting to know Nalan Kittrell:

  • If you could instantly become an expert in anything, what would it be?  “Basketball.  I love basketball; it’s my favorite sport.  I would want to be a forward for an NBA team.”
  • A TV show is going to be made about and staring you.  Tell us about it. “It would be called ‘Super Nalan!’ and be about superheroes fighting crime."
  • What is one thing your classmates and teachers would never guess about you? “In my opinion, Good Burger is the best movie!”

"Nalan is a student I can count on to always have a positive attitude and a willingness to work," said Ms. Jessica Lee, Nalan's World History teacher. "He comes to class each day ready to give 110%, which shows how much he values learning. His unique perspective benefits the class during group discussions, and he is always respectful of others. I am honored to have Nalan in class!"
