University High School Student Spotlight - April 18, 2022

High School Honoree – Taylor Santucci

Taylor is not only consistently eager to learn math in class every day, but he also enjoys helping peers gain understanding when they struggle. He is so energetic to help his peers that he is an asset in the classroom. He is an excellent role model and leader in class. He also volunteers to help students in the math lab.

Getting to know Taylor Santucci:

  • What is your favorite place to eat?  “Yumari Kitchen.  We go there on special occasions so if we are eating there something cool is happening.”
  •  What makes you happy? “Going out and hanging with friends.”
  • What is your biggest pet peeve? “Studying for a test and then not having it.” 

"Taylor spreads excitement about learning Algebra 2,” said Dr. Kim Summey, Taylor’s teacher. “He asks wonderful questions which exhibit deep thought. He is energetic and positive when he helps peers in class and in the math lab. He is witty, funny, and completely respectful in the classroom. He is a wonderful asset in the classroom.”
