High School Honoree – Elana Gooding

Elana is a newer student to our school and was worried about her first experience in a public high school, but has blended in nicely. She is always attentive and willing to participate in class. She is thoughtful and kind to her peers. Elana is an asset to the University School family!

Getting to know Elana Gooding:

What’s the most fun you’ve ever had in school? “The most fun for me is forming new friendships and learning new things.”

If you had to describe yourself using only one word, what would it be? “Enthusiastic. I am pretty happy with anything I am involved with doing.”

What is one item you want to own that you don’t? “I don’t need anything. I’ve got the best boyfriend in the world.”

"Elana is always attentive and willing to participate in class,” said Dr. Amanda Frasier, Elana’s Economics teacher. “She asks questions when she needs to. She is thoughtful and kind to her peers. University School is lucky to have Elana as part of our student body!”
