High School Honoree – Ellie Ledbetter
Ellie is engaged in classroom discussions and offers well developed viewpoints in class. She respects the viewpoints of others. Her work in class shows a high level of consciousness and pride in her work.
Getting to know Ellie Ledbetter:
- Would you rather win $10,000 or let your best friend win $100,000? “My friend because she pays for all my stuff anyway.”
- What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? “Slow down and don’t stress the small stuff.”
- If you could have one song play every time you entered a room what would it be? “Banana Pancakes because I just really like the song.”
“Ellie is a good example of the type of student that University School produces by her work at the Tennessee Governors School. Ellie’s work ethic is displayed in her ability to successfully balance a part-time job, dual enrollment classes and University School classes,” said Dr. Rayne Price, Ellie’s Environmental Science teacher.
