Middle School Honoree – Carter Fox
Carter is a wonderful student. He is responsible and always strives to do his best. On top of maintaining high expectations for himself when it comes to academics, he also has the kindest heart. He tries to make everyone feel included and will help anyone who needs it.
Getting to know Carter:
- Who is your hero?
“Mr. Weems. He is always kind and caring with his students. Really, all my teachers in general.”
- You can pick any occupation when you are an adult. What are you choosing?
“I’d pick microbiologist or human geneticist. My dad works in both of these areas and I have been able to see his work in action and its pretty cool.”
- If a new student joined your class, what advice would you give him/her?
“My advice would be to open up to everyone because there is going to be a friend here.”
" Carter's joy is contagious,” commented Ms. Reis, Carter’s 8th-grade math teacher. “He easily brings a smile to anyone's face!”
