The College of Arts and Sciences provides assistance to faculty applying for Tenure and Promotion.
In early May of each year, the College receives notification of eligibility from the Office of Human Resources; eligible faculty should be notified by the department chair by May 15. The completed dossier is submitted to the chair by September 15. More information regarding deadlines is available on the ETSU Protenure System. In order to login, type in the same username and password used to access your computer.
The guidelines for Tenure and Promotion are found in the ETSU Faculty Handbook Section Two, under "Policy on Tenure" and "Policy on Employment." The College and Department Tenure and Promotion Criteria should be reviewed by eligible faculty.
