Stereomicroscopy Sysytems
Olympus SZ61TR Stereomicroscope
The Olympus SZ61TR stereomicroscope is located in Room 119 of Building 119 on the VA campus and is available to university faculty, staff and students.
The SZ61TR provides high-quality imaging for gross specimens and stained tissue sections.

Imaging and Illumination
The system is mounted on an Olympus SZ2-ILST6 LED-illuminated stand with:
- Simultaneous transmitted and reflected light
- Fiber optic illumination for additional overhead lighting

Camera System
The trinocular configuration includes a digital imaging system:
- Infinity 1-2CB 2-megapixel color camera (Lumenera Corp.)
- Supports high-resolution, low-magnification color imaging

Leica MZ16 FA Fluorescence Stereomicroscope
The Leica MZ16 FA is a fully automated fluorescence stereomicroscope located in Room 122 of Building 119 on the VA campus and is available to university faculty, staff and students.
The system is fully apochromatic and motorized, allowing users to control imaging functions with precision.
