On Aug 7th the ETSU Department of Pediatrics hosted the 36th Annual Pediatrics Conference at The James and Nellie Brinkley Center in Johnson City, TN. The conference is geared towards providers who care for children in East Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, Western North Carolina, and Southeast Kentucky. This year the conference was offered in a hybrid format allowing people to attend both in person and virtually. Included in the conference was the Annual Student/Resident Poster Competition. The competition included 14 posters ranging from case studies, program evaluations, and original research of topics regarding children and youth in our region. Presenters recorded a poster presentation for judging and for viewing by virtual attendees. Presenters also attend the conference to discuss their work with in person attendees.
