Tri-Cities Financial Aid Night returns in March
East Tennessee State University’s Tri-Cities Financial Aid Night returns Thursday, March 21 from 5-8 p.m. in the ballroom on the 3rd floor of ETSU's D.P. Culp Student Center.
Current ETSU students and area high school seniors are invited to attend and receive assistance with submitting the 2024-2025 Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, which is an essential step in receiving aid for college.
“Filling out the FAFSA can be intimidating and our office is happy to be able to provide this service to the community and help make the process easier,” said Catherine Morgan, director of ETSU's Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships.
Staff from ETSU's Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships and the Educational Opportunity Center will be on hand to help answer questions and complete the application.
“The FAFSA is the best tool to unlocking any kind of student aid including Tennessee HOPE (Lottery) Scholarship and the Pell Grant,” said Morgan.
Guests are encouraged to bring a verified account username and password (FSA ID), parent or spouse contributor name, date of birth, Social Security Number (SSN), and email address, as well as their 2022 income and asset information (if required).
