If selected for verification, turn in all requested documentation

Each year, some students are selected for verification – a process that both the Department of Education and ETSU Financial Aid use to confirm that the information submitted by you and your parents is correct.

If you are selected, you will be notified via the email you used to log into the FAFSA. Financial Aid Counselors are available to assist you in this process.

The verification process may take up to four weeks. If ETSU Financial Aid requests documentation from you, submit items as quickly as possible.
