After School Care at University School

Printable Insurance and Immunization Information

Printable University School Registration Application

Dear University School families,

Little Bucs will no longer be available to provide afterschool care for University School students after August 23rd, 2018 because ETSU students will begin using this service.  The contract with the YMCA of Kingsport to provide afterschool care at University School is in progress and will be in place by October 9th 2018, when quarter 2 begins. Starting August 27th and until the end of the first quarter, afterschool care will be provided at University School, in the 1st grade classroom, by Hunter Oliver (2nd grade aide and certified elementary teacher) with an assistant, from 3:00pm until 5:30pm on school days.   The assistants are ETSU graduate assistants who are already working at University School: Hunter Bowman works with our special education teacher, Courtney Morgan works in our counseling office and Victoria Lacy works with 5th grade.  They will be rotating the days that they assist with afterschool care.

Parents picking up their children will be able to enter University School through the front doors.  Please sign your child out with Hunter Oliver.  Between 3:00 and 5:30 Hunter can be reached at this number: (423) 491-6042.

Please complete the application prior to your child attending afterschool and turn it in to the main office of University School or send it in your child’s homework folder and let their teacher know. If you have already turned in an application for Little Bucs, we have a copy of it and you do not need to submit a new one. On the day your child needs to go to afterschool care, please notify the teacher.

The fee will continue to be $14/ day or $60/week. Payments are submitted online: https://epay.goldlink.etsu.edu/C20071_ustores/web/classic/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCTID=376&SINGLESTORE=true

I thank you for your patience throughout this process. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me or Dr. Penley.
