The ETSU Health, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Medical Oncology is
actively involved in clinical care of patients with benign and malignant hematological
and oncological, education and scholarship. The clinical activities are delivered through the Mountain States Health Alliance
with the in-patient care located at Johnson City Medical Center, Franklin Woods Community
Hospital and Sycamore Shoals Hospitals. Ambulatory care and clinics are operated through
the Regional Cancer Center of Mountain States Health Alliance located at Johnson City,
Elizabethton and Kingsport. A wide variety of benign and malignant hematology and
solid tumor oncology patients are cared for by the division faculty.
The division is actively involved in the education and training of medical oncology fellows, internal medicine residents and senior medical students. Scholarship is pursued by discovery, integration, application, teaching and education activities within the division.
