Office of the Registrar
Dr. Tom Donohoe, University Registrar
Erica Fletcher, Office Coordinator
Ms. Fletcher assists the University Registrar and the areas related to Registration,
Records, and Graduation with everyday duties. Erica prepares travel and personnel
paperwork for the Office of the Registrar and participates in budget reviews to maintain
an accurate accounting of the office budget. She maintains the office calendars for
accuracy and schedules meetings for the department. She maintains the inventory of
office material and equipment for the Office of the Registrar. Ms. Fletcher is also
responsible for the preparation of the stage party scripts and the overall operational
documentation related to the bi-annual commencement ceremonies.
Andrew Howell, Assistant Registrar, Data Management
Mr. Howell manages all data associated with the Graduate and Undergraduate Curriculum.
Data management includes curriculum, course inventory, prerequisites, co-requisites,
equivalencies, attributes, restrictions, repeat details, TN eCampus, EDI Cross Reference
Rules, Crosswalk Validation and assist with running Enrollment reports. He supervises
temporary employees and student workers. Andrew is responsible to the Registrar for
reporting academic data; management of the Master Course Inventory File; management
and tracking of the Academic Program Inventory; and training and support of academic
users in the management of SIS and Banner data. Mr. Howell assists office personnel
with Banner, class schedule development, commencement ceremonies, and other functions
as needed. This position also serves on various committees and task forces.
Dr. Evelyn Roach, Director of Curriculum Innovation Center
Dr. Roach manages the implementation and planning of the student degree audit system
called Degree Works. She translates policies and degree requirements into rules within
the software and maintains degree audit tables. She is responsible for troubleshooting
the software and identifying affected systems and tables. Evelyn is responsible for
maintaining tables in the software which includes the course equivalencies table,
cross listed courses table, major table, concentration table, minor table and the
configuration table. She collaborates with advisors, faculty, and staff to ensure
the accuracy of requirements and core curriculum as well as cross trains staff members
to translate degree requirements into rules within the software. She develops and
conducts training and creates tutorials on the use and benefits of Degree Works.
Evelyn serves on various committees which help support students' academic plans and
success.
Stacie Hill, Curriculum and Catalog Coordinator
Mrs. Hill utilizes Acalog to produce the graduate and undergraduate e-catalogs and
works with the curriculum using Curriculog. She works on preparing the catalogs for
the director of Veterans Affairs to file so veteran students receive payment. She
assists office personnel in commencement ceremonies and other functions of the office
as well as serving on various committees concerning the curriculum. Stacie develops
and conducts training in the catalog and curriculum systems.
Graduate Assistant
This position is responsible for supporting the Registrar's office.
GRADUATION
Jessica Miller, Associate Registrar
Mrs. Miller plans, organizes, and supervises the university commencement ceremony;
supervises staff, students and temporary employees who assist with graduation activities.
She performs graduation audits, verifies degree requirements, approves second bachelor's
degree programs, prepares the commencement program and oversees the printing of diplomas.
She participates in the graduation celebration and graduation workshop. Ms. Miller
maintains the graduation section of the web site and prepares calendar dates for graduation
related activities. Assists with the implementation of the Banner Student Information
System and the development of the Degree Works degree audit system. She also serves
on various committees.
Cynthia Edwards, Graduation Coordinator
Mrs. Edwards processes preliminary and final graduation checks, solves issues pertaining
to a student's graduation status, prints diplomas, records substitutions, works with
the advisors, processes graduation-related paperwork, confers degrees, and assists
with registrations. She assists with orientation and registration and participates
in the graduation celebration and graduation workshop.
Nam Le, Graduation Analyst II
Mr. Le processes preliminary and final graduation checks, solves issues pertaining
to a student's graduation status, records substitutions, works with the advisors,
processes graduation-related paperwork, and confers degrees. He assists with orientation
and registration and participates in the graduation celebration and graduation workshop.
Bobbie Wood, Graduation Analyst II
Ms. Wood processes preliminary and final graduation checks, solves issues pertaining
to a student's graduation status, records substitutions, works with the advisors,
processes graduation-related paperwork, and confers degrees. She assists with orientation
and registration and participates in the graduation celebration and graduation workshop.
Makayla Campbell, Graduation Analyst II
Ms. Campbell processes preliminary and final graduation checks, solves issues pertaining
to a student's graduation status, records substitutions, works with the advisors,
processes graduation-related paperwork, and confers degrees. Makayla also assists
with orientation and registration and participates in the graduation celebration and
graduation workshop.
RECORDS
Dr. LaDonna Hutchins, Associate Registrar
Ms. Hutchins supervises the Records office and the athletic certification process.
As supervisor of these areas, she oversees the maintenance of student records, oversees
the issuing of student academic transcripts, works with end of semester processes
regarding repeats including TELS Lottery Scholarship repeat courses, final grading,
grade changes, student withdrawals, and works with National Student Clearinghouse
for degree verification and enrollment verification. Ms. Hutchins also assists with
the certification of new and returning athletes to be sure they are eligible to compete
per NCAA regulations each semester and assists the Veterans Affairs Office in certifying
veteran enrollment. She also assists with data collection and reporting; generates
and maintains office web pages; trains faculty, staff and advisors in the use of Banner;
and serves on various committees and task forces.
Caitlin Bell, Assistant Registrar for Athletic Compliance
Ms. Bell manages the NCAA athlete certification process for student athletes engaged
in intercollegiate athletics. Caitlin will evaluate and certify the eligibility of
new, continuing, transfer, and international student athletes each semester. She
participates in the preparation of NCAA reports under the Academic Performance Program
(APR) and will evaluate annual changes in reporting requirements to make the necessary
changes and adjustments to local reports. Ms. Bell also represents the Registrar's
Office at the NCAA Regional Rules Seminar, University Athletics Committee meetings
as well as other professional seminars and workshops.
Jennifer Seal, Records Coordinator
This position supervises the Record's office workflow as well as resolving any issues
that arise. It assists with grade processing and repeat grades, processes student
ID changes, performs late-drop course requests and university withdrawals, and prepares
list/labels for departments and companies as requested throughout the year. Also works
with the National Student Clearinghouse for degree and enrollment verification, Credential
Solutions for transcript requests, and assists with the Milligan/Emmanuel/ETSU Agreement
program.
Elizabeth Parker, Technical Clerk
Ms. Parker is responsible for processing transcript requests, name and address changes,
enrollment verifications, as well as major changes for the Record's office. Liz assists
with verifying the National Student Clearinghouse enrollment and degree requests and
the Credential Solutions transcript requests.
Jamila Moody, Technical Clerk
Ms. Moody is responsible for processing transcript requests, name and address changes,
enrollment verifications, as well as major changes for the Record's office. Jamila
assists with verifying the National Student Clearinghouse enrollment and degree requests
and the Credential Solutions transcript requests.
REGISTRATION
Hannah Rhoades, Associate Registrar
Ms. Rhoades plans, organizes, and supervises the university student registration process;
supervises staff, students and temporary employees who assist with registration. She
works with orientation, prepares class schedules and assigns academic classroom space
and distributing registration/schedule information. She prints and maintains the schedule
of classes and interactive course search on GoldLink, maintains registration setup,
academic term information and calendar dates on GoldLink and Banner. She works with
the implementation of the Banner Student Information System and trains academic users
in the use of Banner schedule building. She maintains the registration section of
the web site, provides data reporting, and assists with the management of the office
budget. Ms. Rhoades also serves of various committees.
Jessica Barrett, Assistant Registrar, Scheduling
Ms. Barrett manages the development and scheduling of on campus academic classroom
space and helps ensure optimal classroom utilization. Ms. Barrett also serves as the
administrator for Series25, maintaining the collection of data from University departments
regarding classroom space. She maintains 25Live, the university's online calendar
for academic space. Ms. Barrett also serves as the WebTailor administrator for the
Registrars Office and other areas of enrollment services as well as assisting in the
generation and maintenance of the Registrars Office web pages. She works with executive
aide training, assists with walk in traffic, maintains the student worker and temporary
worker time sheets, supervises staff, students and temporary employees who assist
with registration activities. Ms.Barrett also serves on various committees.
Amber Earp, Technical Clerk
Ms. Earp assists students with registration and the dropping and adding of courses.
She assists the Assistant Registrar with room reservations and scheduling across campus.
Amber helps run the GoldLink helpline as well as handles walk in traffic and phone
calls. Ms. Earp assists departments in building courses, processing schedule changes,
and reviews registration edits for the Registrar's office.
Rebecca Woodring, Technical Clerk
Ms. Woodring assists students with registration and dropping and adding courses. She
handles the immunization updates for orientations and term registration. She compiles
parts of the schedule book, proofs course listings, and schedules rooms and buildings
for specific events. Ms. Woodring assists with orientation and trains new executive
aides with course building and new student workers in the office.
