Group Swim Lessons
The ETSU Campus Recreation Swim Lesson Program varies in ages from 6 months - 12 years old by certified student employees. Group swim lessons consist of 8 thirty minute classes that occur for 4 weeks. Participants should register in specific swim levels depending on their swimming abilities. We also offer a Water Babies class for ages 6 months to 32 months. Water Babies requires a parent/guardian in the water the entire class.
Group lessons are offered to current ETSU Faculty/Staff, Students and their dependents. There is no late registration. We work on a first come, first serve basis. When classes are full, the registration will be closed for that specific group. We recommend registering in the first few days to make sure you have a spot.
Lessons may be cancelled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances. All makeups for inclement weather will be held the Friday of the same week the class is cancelled. Refunds will not be given for inclement weather, cancelled or missed lessons.
Through our swim lesson program, there is an opportunity for everyone at ETSU to gain the skills and knowledge to feel confident in the water.
