Sixth grade students are currently studying the engineering design process as part of their science curriculum.  Today's challenge was a group task to construct the tallest tower out of spaghetti noodles, tape, string, and a marshmallow.

Eighth Grade Yearbook Dedications
Dear 8th Grade parents/ guardians,

Eighth grade is a big year as it is the year in which your child transitions from middle school to high school. The journalism staff believes that your child deserves some form of recognition for his/her hard work and growth while preparing for the next chapter in his or her life. We are going to include a "dedications" section in the 2019-20 K-8 yearbook. There will be six per page. We ask that you please send a picture of your child (baby or current) and a short message to them that will be featured in the yearbook. Some examples are pictured below. There will be no extra charge for this feature.

Please submit these two items to Ms. Hammonds by February 28, 2020. You may hand deliver them to the office or Ms. Hammonds' room (301B) or e-mail them to . If you hand deliver them, we will scan a copy of the picture and then return the original to you. Thank you for helping us recognize the University School class of 2024!

Sincerely,
2019-20 Journalism Staff
