Announcement from Coach Alan Cox, for those interested in Track and Field:
UH distance has always excelled, with its most recent state title in cross country (7th overall). UH pole vault has been extremely successful also with 2 state champions, two 2nd places, two 3rd places and multiple top 5 finishes since 2010, with the boys state runner up and girls state 3rd place last year, with 15 sectional 1st and 2nd places.
I am a former collegiate decathlete and Pole Vaulter, current master jumper, holding the Tennessee State Record and a level 1 USATF certified coach.
We practice in the ETSU dome. Any 8th-12th grade students that are interested should contact Coach Cox at 423.767.8268
